Marriage & Family Therapist Associate · Washington State
I help overwhelmed moms and families feel more grounded and enjoy parenthood again.
Change comes not from trying harder, but from having the right tools — and therapy that fits you. When the family gets steady, the child settles.

About me
I'm Yudi Wang, a Marriage & Family Therapist Associate licensed in Washington State (MFTA.MG.70131974), practicing under the supervision of Deborah Nielsen, LMFT. I also hold a master's degree in special education. Before becoming a therapist I spent nearly a decade working with children and families — Montessori, Waldorf, and Parent Lab Level 4 parent coach training.
Most of the people I see are Seattle tech and startup families. A child's big emotions and behavior can make parenting exhausting, and the pressure from work and life never quite lets up. I'll work alongside you to find the path back to enjoying your life again.
My work is trauma-informed, attachment-based, and grounded in family systems. I pay close attention to how a parent's stress and trauma history move through the family — because a child's state is so often an echo of the whole system's.
Who I work with
Mothers running on empty
Anxiety, short fuse, guilt, burnout. You hold everyone else — and no one holds you. We take the weight apart and put it back where it actually belongs.
Neurodivergent children — managing symptoms through parenting
Behavioral concerns, oppositional defiance, ADHD, ASD, emotional regulation. My master's in special education means I read a child's behavior in the context of school as well as home — and I often start with the parents, the gentlest door in.
Tech families navigating parenting under pressure
Layoffs, visas, relocation, long stretches of solo parenting. When the ground outside shakes, the home needs a structure that holds.
Couples stuck in the same fight over parenting
The same argument in a hundred costumes. We stop litigating who's right and finally make the agreement you never got to make.
